Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a common but often undiagnosed condition that can
significantly impact overall health. Dental hygienists play an important role in identifying
signs of sleep-disordered breathing during routine dental assessments. This course will
provide practical strategies for screening patients for OSA, recognizing key risk factors,
